What's good interweb land?!?! So yeah Chi posted this a while back, but I felt it needed to be posted again, for anyone who hasn't seen it and is a Goontown fan as I very much am you need to watch this!! The kid kills it on both shred sticks, much respect. "Street degrees of seperation" - A day chasing the art trail in downtown LA.

WTF? Pretty sure I want in though!?!

Kinda waiting for the Batman light art to appear?! It didn't.. It's just a movie I'm told.

Strolled by couple familiar spots today, think K-loose got sick of me wanting a pic with em all. Ha! Sk82Cre8.

The 'street degrees of seperation' exhibition was on as part of the 'Downtown art walk'. Some of both mine and Pat's favourite artists were on the bill, including Fake, Danny Gonzales, ClownSoldier, JMR, HiddenMoves, Eyeformation.. the list went on. I was especially taken back by this piece, I want I want I want!!

Dearest 'Fake' I am so very close! I tracked some of his freshly block-mounted pieces on show down @ Crewest Gallery on Winston st. Amazing artist- Full stop.

First conscious attempt.

The title says it all really. Hugh first attempted this at the MTV Snowjam at Thredbo last season, having pushed through quals with some stock but rad front 3's and a 7, he told himself if he got another hit he would try a double backflip, the jump was pretty small and the snow was apparently very slow.
I unfortunately missed this event as it went down whilst Gus and I were en-route back from style wars, after digging out his beefed up 4WD for what seemed like 3 or 4 hours to long (it what was the biggest 24hr snowfall I have witnessed in my 12 seasons in oz by far.) I later caught the clip of his "double" when it aired and was a bit taken back, in that it looked very much like Halladors double backflip 180 & which I feel is also boarder line double back rodeo. .

This was his first actual conscious attempt at the above mentioned trick.

With the rapid progression and what is considered the 'norm' for up and comers these days, there is such a fine line i feel with these double corks, late dips, double under's, double over's.. the list shall go on. I recently caught Marc McMorris's back ten "double" nose grab, and wow that agian is a whole new axis from start through finish yet he has it on lock and with more grabs being thrown in the mix at each event these days I look forward to watching kids such as Hugh throw there own flavour into em'.

Ahead lays the 7 hour drive to L.A in the morning in big poppa, for hugh has to jet home and get set for his final year of school. Head down ass up my young brother, The world is ya oyster.. or "hot pocket" as I know ya love em more than any stupid oysters ha! It has been an absolute pleasure hanging out & shredding the gnar with you these past couple weeks. Fun times aplenty, safe travels Big Dawg.

I now look forward to getting stuck right in myself, stacking that footy out back and getting some super fun resort days with what seems like a numbering oz posse with my main man Pat Chi loosey, Tomohhh , Screetch and Ant man, D-fresh, J-rad, Cohen, Bieber, fringee, the Mally sisters, Ryzy, Matty B, big money, J-west, Lil' Tiene.. damn the list goes on. Get over here ya'll :) plenty of familiar smiling faces at the Northern star.. Here we are! P&L

So seems this fancy little device takes a mean still picture also, we messed about with it yesterday whilst getting some shots for Hugh's promo clip. Here my friends are the results. Enjoy.

Also note worthy is the fact that the big line at Northstar opened today, best looking park I have seen in years, top to bottom with about a thousand hits. Hugh stepped straight to it having studied his idol Mr Torstein Horgmo's part again ( for the thousandth time no doubt) and although I knew he was almost ready for it, it still came as a complete mind fu*k when after one attempt (so very close) he stepped straight back up and landed 'almost' cleanly his first "front ten dub nasty"

My hat goes off to this young buck, although it sometimes feels like I am blowing smoke up his arse, I genuinely cannot believe just how much he has progressed on this trip. Makes me wonder why I even bother haha oh that's right, I love this shit with all my heart.

Stay true my friends & never, ever give up chasing that feeling.. dreams are for living & this life is for giving. P&L
